Lauren Valdez, Chief Operations Officer

Ms. Lauren Valdez brings to The Wheeler Company (Wheeler Co.) organization management and attention to detail that is insurmountable to both clients and her colleagues. She serves many roles within the company that come from her ability to multitask and offer the best in customer service.

Lauren graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a major in Peace and Conflict and minor in Global Poverty and Practice Minor where she studied international and post conflict development and microfinance. After graduating with honors and publishing her honors thesis within the International Areas Studies Teaching Program, she earned a visiting scholar position at UC Berkeley. As a visiting scholar, Lauren was awarded a Judith Lee Stronach Baccalaureate Prize recipient that sponsored her original research project implemented in Nairobi, Kenya to collaborate with consumer advocacy organizations to research and create a consumer education campaign for Kenyan borrowers.

In her spare time, Lauren enjoys reading and travels any opportunity she gets. She also enjoys watching football with her family - go Bears!
